The publisher suggests checking out the image by artist Gerald Parel for clues. Well, here's one - that is Galactus in the left hand side there, isn't it?
The new project will apparently be revealed Tuesday evening at 7pm on G4's Attack of This Show

On today's episode of G4TV's Attack of the Show, Blair Butler revealed writer Jonathan Hickman's next project will be Shield, a miniseries that will reach far into the past of the Marvel Universe.

In Shield, Hickman will team with artist Dustin Weaver (Star Wars, King Kong) to chronicle how some of the greatest figures in history worked to protect the Earth from Galactus and other interstellar threats.

Marvel teased the announcement this morning: "They've been around since the dawn of time. ... how do they impact the past, present and future of the Marvel Universe?"

Hickman, whose work includes The Nightly News and Fantastic Four, says Shield "feels like the best thing I've done." The comic debuts in April 2010.

Il me semble avoir vu une image où on le voit épuisé, comme vidé de son énergie un peu ce qu'avaient imaginé l'auteur de la série X-Men à l'époque des Douzes etc. lorsqu'on se retrouve dans un faux futur où Apocalypse essaie de les manipuler et tout, les X-Men avaient sois-disant neutralisé.

en gros, il y a une organisation du SHIELD qui date de bien longtemps (De vinci en faisait partie mais aussi Galilee, Newton..) ils ont battus les Broods ou Galactus.
Quel impact sur le présent?

Pas mal du tout la preview, et ça a l'air sympa le concept comme quoi des personnalité scientifique ou autre du passé ont fait partie d'une ancienne organisation du SHIELD qui aurait palié à des menaces galactiques comme les Broods etc.

Est-ce que c'est Imotep ou En Sabah Nur qui combat les Broods (ou bien ne sont-ils qu'une seule et même personne ^^)?! Sinon j'ai vu une autre planche preview qui est pas là, avec le gars dont l'infini se dessinait sur le visage... Sinon je trouve le dessin époustouflant et encore je me demande vraiment si Panini France aura le courage de publier ça en VF!!

Quelle claque, ces dessins! Voilà le genre d'artiste qu'il faudrait coller sur toutes les séries type Nova ou The Sword, pour les sauver.

En tout cas, si entre le concept et le visuel, cette série ne marche pas, je vais désespérer pour de bon.

c est vrai que c est plus détaillé surtout les décors comme du franco belge mais le decoupage, la narration reste du comics.
L action est plus découpée dans le fraco belge (moins dynamique) et le decoupage plus conventionnel
